National Instructors

  Robert Green
Robert is a nationally known author, teacher and consultant with 22 years of CAD experience in a variety of applications. You’ve likely read his work in Cadalyst magazine, PE Magazine, The CAD Manager's Newsletter or his new book Expert CAD Management: The Complete Guide. As a consultant, public speaker and 13-year veteran of Autodesk University, Robert has taught thousands of students in CAD management, programming and CAD application usage since 1990. When Robert isn’t writing or teaching, he heads The Robert Green Consulting Group, which provides consulting and programming services for clients throughout the U.S. and Canada. Robert holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and resides in the greater Atlanta area.
   
  Beth Powell
Beth Powell has been an AutoCAD user since 1992 and has owned CAD Fuel Design since 2001. She produces drawings for the fueling industry and helps implement and train users on AutoCAD, AutoCAD Architecture, and AutoCAD MEP. She also helps users with CAD standards and collaboration. She developed and implemented CAD standards as well as managed a CAD department for 10 years. She was a premier user and tester for the Buzzsaw collaboration site, served on the AUGI Board of Directors, and has contributed to the AUGI Paperspace newsletter and AUGIWorld magazine. She also is a regular instructor for the AUGI Training Program (ATP).
   
  Rodney Kerbyson
Rodney is a training content manager at Autodesk, Inc. having nearly 15 years experience with Autodesk products. He has co-authored and managed the development of Autodesk Official Training Courseware (AOTC) projects for Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Revit Structure, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD Mechanical, and the Autodesk Inventor product line. Prior to, and sometimes during his courseware development role, Rodney was a Senior Application Engineer, a Product Designer for Mechanical Desktop, and a Technical Marketing Manager where he authored Autodesk Inventor Hands-on Test Drives. 
   
 
Mark Mates
Mark is a certified AEC applications engineer supporting Autodesk products, as well as a senior instructor for ProSoft. He specializes in providing consulting services and technical writing. His most recent title is the 900-page Revit Architecture 2008 Fundamentals training manual published by ProSoft. Mark served in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years, and then became a CAD manager for a large AE firm supporting architects and structural engineers. Mark has more than 21 years of CAD/BIM experience and is proficient in Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Revit MEP, AutoCAD and MicroStation. He is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

 

   

Travis Jones
Travis is a training content manager at Autodesk, Inc. with more than 15 years experience with Autodesk products. He has developed and delivered training courses to countless people. You may recognize him if you have participated in a virtual training class on Autodesk products. A prolific writer and educator, Travis has not only co-authored seven Autodesk Inventor books and has also managed Autodesk official training courseware projects for AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT and the Autodesk Inventor product line. He is also a regular speaker at Autodesk University and other conferences.

   

Matt Murphy
Matt has been recognized by Autodesk as a leader in providing professional training since 1985. He has served as an advisor and consultant to the training industry as Chair of the Autodesk Training Center Advisory Board (ATCAB) and Executive Committee (ATCEC). Matt is also an Autodesk Approved Instructor (AAI) and a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT). He has received numerous instructional awards, including the ATC Eastern Regional Instructor of the year for 2004. A widely acclaimed top trainer and featured columnist for Cadalyst and AUGIWorld magazines, he has presented at Autodesk University for 15 years and was the top Autodesk University Speaker for both tutorial and large lecture sessions for 2007.

   
 

Alex Penney
As an Autodesk employee, Alex has worked directly with the Autodesk Map 3D development team for more than 10 years. During that time he has personally trained hundreds of Autodesk partners all over the world, managed the GIS training team for Autodesk, and has written several training books. Currently, Alex works in the Autodesk Training Content development team in charge of ISD training materials. Before Autodesk, Alex worked as a GIS consultant to local government and municipalities to create mapping systems to manage their spatial data.

Regional Instructors


Harold Litzenberger
Harold has worked as a CAD designer and manager for 22 years, gaining the majority of his work experience in industrial and institutional design with Autodesk products. An avid AutoCAD user, he was introduced to the product with Release 1.4. Harold has led his multidiscipline environmental firm to implement the 2005, 2006, and 2007 versions of AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Architecture, and AutoCAD MEP on a host of projects both large and small.

Eric Kuszewski

Eric has been an Applications Expert for CADapult Ltd. in Newark, DE for two years.  Prior to that he worked as a mechanical designer with a large Architectural and Engineering firm.  He has experience serving both architectural and engineering clients in utilizing AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Revit Architecture, and Revit MEP.  He has received certification from Autodesk as an Implementation Certified Expert for AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP

 

David Okonewski

Dave is a Civil 3D Implementation Specialist and a real life gunslinger for Civil 3D.  He implemented Civil 3D for a firm with fewer than 10 users and has completed over two dozen projects with Civil 3D meeting deadline after deadline.  Autodesk even wrote a success story about this firm.    Dave has an extensive background in using AutoCAD and Land Desktop for various firms around the country before his two years of Civil 3D experience.
