National Instructors

David Cohn
David has more than 20 years of hands-on experience with AutoCAD as a user, developer, author and consultant. He is an applications engineer with The PPI Group, a contributing editor to Desktop Engineering magazine, the former publisher and editor-in-chief of CADCAMNet and Engineering Automation Report, the former senior editor of CADalyst magazine, and the author of more than a dozen books on AutoCAD. A licensed architect, David was also one of the earliest AutoCAD third-party software developers, creating numerous AutoCAD add-on programs. As an industry consultant, David has worked with many companies including Autodesk. He teaches college-level AutoCAD courses and is always a popular presenter at Autodesk University.

Robert Green
Robert is a nationally known author, teacher and consultant with 22 years of CAD experience in a variety of applications. You’ve likely read his work in Cadalyst magazine, PE Magazine, The CAD Manager's Newsletter or his new book Expert CAD Management: The Complete Guide. As a consultant, public speaker and 13-year veteran of Autodesk University, Robert has taught thousands of students in CAD management, programming and CAD application usage since 1990. When Robert isn’t writing or teaching, he heads The Robert Green Consulting Group, which provides consulting and programming services for clients throughout the U.S. and Canada. Robert holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and resides in the greater Atlanta area. |

Matt Murphy
Matt has been recognized by Autodesk as a leader in providing professional training since 1985. He has served as an advisor and consultant to the training industry as Chair of the Autodesk Training Center Advisory Board (ATCAB) and Executive Committee (ATCEC). Matt is also an Autodesk Approved Instructor (AAI) and a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT). He has received numerous instructional awards, including the ATC Eastern Regional Instructor of the year for 2004. A widely acclaimed top trainer and featured columnist for Cadalyst and AUGIWorld magazines, he has presented at Autodesk University for 15 years and was the top Autodesk University Speaker for both tutorial and large lecture sessions for 2007.

Allan Gager
Allen is a design engineer and CAD manager for A.T. Ferrell, Inc. located in Bluffton, Indiana. A.T. Ferrell manufactures machinery for the agricultural industry. He has over eighteen years’ experience using and customizing Autodesk products in a production environment and has been designing products in 3D since 1997. He has a proven track record of streamlining the design process. Allen is a popular Indiana AMUG User Group Speaker and Inventor instructor, recognized for his ability to communicate training topics in a clear, easy-to-follow manner.

Regional Instructors
Paul Galloway
Paul has been using and teaching AutoCAD and Autodesk’s building design software since 1995. He has worked for various firms involved in plumbing, HVAC piping, civil site and subdivision design, and structural design for both residential and commercial. This experience gives him a unique perspective on the power – and the pain – of coordinating projects across disciplines and across disparate types of design software. He has done programming both in support of Autodesk and database software, and standalone applications. Sprinkle in some network administration and web development to round out his technical experience. He is a native Texan who has also lived for extended periods in Europe and Asia.
Jeff Juniewich
Jeff has worked as a technical specialist for Autodesk resellers for the last 12 years. He has also provided valuable feedback during the recent AutoCAD Map 3D Marathon that was held in San Rafael, CA in November, 2007. Jeff also supported the Government Solutions booth at Autodesk University by demonstrating Autodesk MapGuide Enterprise applications. He also attended the invite-only GeoSpatial Roundtable at AU. Jeff is a participant in the Autodesk Geospatial 5:1 program and is active in Geospatial Beta testing.
Michael Norton
Michael has over 30 years of civil experience including tenure with the Houston TxDOT Bridge Division and with Harris County Flood Control. In addition, Mike has worked as a designer with several private engineering and environmental firms and has also been an AutoCAD instructor at the University of Houston. In the classroom, he draws on his years of real-world experience to understand users’ needs and provide them with valuable insight. He has been using AutoCAD almost 25 years and DCA/Softdesk/Land Desktop/Civil 3D for 20 years.
Michael Reale
Before accepting the role of applications specialist at Total CAD Systems, Michael worked as a mechanical and electrical systems designer. His previous life “in the trenches” helps him provide users with solutions that really work. He has been using AutoCAD since Release 12, and is fluent in the customization of Autodesk products, including AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit MEP.
Lyubo Stanev
Lyubo is an application expert for Total CAD Systems in Houston. He provides training and technical support as well as implementation solutions for Total CAD Systems’ Architecture and MEP customers. This is his third time presenting at AUGI CAD Camp. Lyubo has a mechanical background with experience in HVAC systems design. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Sofia, Bulgaria.
